Roles within Sollage

Citizen

Members who meet the baseline requirement for $SOLAGE holdings achieve the status of Citizen. This role grants basic voting rights, allowing Citizens to participate in community decisions and contribute to the direction of the platform. As a core part of the governance model, Citizens represent the majority of active voters, ensuring widespread participation and a democratic decision-making process.

Councillor

Members with larger $SOLAGE holdings or significant contributions to the DAO can attain the role of Councillor. Councillors hold enhanced voting power and possess additional privileges, such as the right to submit new proposals. This elevated status allows Councillors to take a more active role in governance, helping to steer investment choices and community initiatives. The Councillor role is designed to reward dedication and investment in the platform, recognizing those who contribute to the DAO’s stability and growth.

Role Progression and Incentives

The Status-Based Roles system encourages progression within the community. As members increase their $SOLAGE holdings or engage more deeply in DAO activities, they can advance from Citizen to Councillor. This progression provides motivation for ongoing participation and investment, ensuring that the most committed members are actively involved in guiding the platform’s future.

Through its Status-Based Roles, Sollage creates a structured yet inclusive governance environment where both new and seasoned members can contribute according to their involvement. This hierarchical model not only rewards commitment but also ensures that those with a vested interest in the platform’s success have a meaningful voice in its direction, strengthening the community and enhancing the DAO’s resilience.
